Mixing Materials in Room 9

 We have been busy carrying out experiments in Room 9. We were exploring mixing different materials in hot and cold water. We made predictions and were quite surprised with the results. Like scientists, we recorded our results and had a lot of fun.

We have learned with Dogs Trust. Today a member of the dogs trust team visited our classroom and taught us how to be dog smart!

 

Signs of Spring. Room 7 went for a walk today to spot the first signs of Spring. Can you see the buds on the trees?

 

All about length!! Room 7 are learning how to measure using standard and non-standard units of measurement!!

 

Beauty and the Beast! The whole school were treated to a wonderful performance of Beauty and the Beast.

 

Would you like a cup of tea?! No problem. Come to room 7 where we've been practicing how to make a cup of tea and have written a procedure explaining all the steps.

 

A trip to the Recycling Centre. Room 7 visited the Recycling Centre and learned all about the different materials that can be recycled!
